Industrial Bank was established in 1992.
During years of active operations on the financial market the Bank has become
one of the largest private banks in Russia. IIB has constantly ranked among Top
5 largest Russian banks in terms of main financial ratios, demonstrating steady
dynamic development. The Bank's reliability and financial figures are favorably
rated by Russian and international rating
agencies and business press. IIB ranks 369th in the Top 1000 World
Banks published by The Banker, a creditable British magazine (no. 4 among

International Industrial Bank is a full member of the international card
payment associations VISA International and MasterCard International, as well as
of a number of international and domestic financial organizations. The Bank has
a General License for banking operations issued by the Bank of Russia No. 2056
as of 27.12.2001, and a wide scope of securities market participant licenses, as
well as licenses for information protection services.
The development strategy of International Industrial Bank involves the Bank's
activities on the Russian banking market as a versatile banking institution,
provision of comprehensive services to large corporate customers and
implementation of a diverse program of cooperation with other financial
institutions. IIB focuses on large-scale financing and servicing of projects in

In 2002 International Industrial Bank launched a diverse private customer
servicing program. In 2005 IIB’s retail business has been handed over to the
specialized subsidiary bank Mejprombank Plus (General License of the Bank of
Russia No. 3282) which offers a wide range of deposit products, consumer loans,
complex products based on cards of international payment systems. International
Industrial bank and Mejprombank Plus comprise a single banking group and share a
uniform policy related to key financial and economic issues.
Among the members of the Board of Directors of International Industrial bank are
well-known European managers, banking and finance specialists.
