OOO Mejprombank Plus (M Plus), General License of the Central Bank of the
RF No 3282, is a subsidiary bank of ZAO International Industrial Bank (IIB).
IIB owns 100 % of its authorized capital. Mejprombank Plus is a member of the
Deposit Insurance System and ranks among the 100 biggest banks in Russia in
terms of equity (over EUR 50 million).
The resolution on establishing a specialized retail bank was taken by the
Board of Directors of International Industrial Bank in autumn 2004. This effort
is aimed at raising the efficiency of both retail and corporate business of the
bank.
International Industrial Bank and Mejprombank Plus comprise a single banking
group and share a uniform policy related to key financial and economic
issues.
M Plus takes over most of the IIB’s retail
business, chiefly deposit operations, as well as international plastic cards.
